Superior Customer Service

"I've unfortunately had to try several companies in the past before I found Bridget and the Scorex team. She held my hand through the entire process and really made me feel like she cared. And the best part is, she taught me so much. I highly recommend giving them a call."

The Scorex Process

  How It Works

Our goal is to utilize the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) in your favor. The FDCPA is a Federal law that limits the behavior and actions of third party debt collectors and provides debtors with a means for disputing challenging payoff demands and for determining the validity and accuracy of asserted debts.

Credit Reports

The first step in our process is to order a credit report with all three FICO scores. If you already have copies of these, great! If not, we can help you access them so we can have all the information we need to get a detailed picture of your credit status quo.

Account Analysis

Next, we analyze your credit reports and devise a plan of action catered specifically to your needs. Since no credit report is the same, companies who get their clients the best results pay attention to the nuances and details that set each clients reports apart.

Once we've put together a game plan, we put together unique disputes to give us the best chance of success. Our primary course of action begins with ensuring that your rights under both the FCRA and the FDCPA are being adhered to.

We also provide you with the necessary tools, credit and budget education that you'll need going forward to remain credit compliant and financially savvy, and promise customer service that tells you we care. You are more than just a number with us. With Scorex, you're family, and we never forget that.

Scorex Financial

It's a pretty normal question to ask: how long is this going to take? The honest answer is that it depends -- on your goals, your situation and how much work you need done. That's actually one of the best things about Scorex Financial. We look at you as an individual and build your own personal Game Plan accordingly. Your Game Plan focuses on the areas that will make the most impact-- and helps the Scorex Financial team of experts get to work quickly to make sure your creditors are being responsible regarding the information they're reporting about you.

As you're looking over your credit situation, a question pops up: what if most or even all of my negative items are accurate? Will credit repair still work for me? Well, there are more opportunities for change and growth than you might think. Here's why. Creditors sell very critical information about you every day. It's information that can affect almost everything in your life, from your car payment to your house to your job. So, it's important to make sure that that information is as substantiated, timely, accurate and fair to you as absolutely possible. A lot goes into these definitions. This is where the Scorex Financial expertise comes in. It's our job to help you assess the items on your credit report and then intervene with your creditors to help uphold these standards regarding the information they report about you to the bureaus. So, see what the process can do for you? It might surprise you how much is possible.

It might seem like thinking about credit repair while you're going through a bankruptcy is kind of like putting the cart before the horse. But it's actually one of the best things you can think about--and, yes, it may help in a few very important ways. When someone files for bankruptcy, it's easy for revised items to slip through the cracks or be reported incorrectly. When this happens, the impact on your credit score can be more devastating and linger longer than it should. With the Scorex Financial experts, you have a team who knows all about the credit system helping to make sure that everything is appearing correctly and being removed when it should be. And when you're dealing with something like bankruptcy, it feels good to know that experts who are skillful and trustworthy are looking out for you.

To know whether credit repair is worth it, you just have to look at what your credit impacts. These days, it seems like it's just about everything. When you start realizing how far it goes, it's easy to do a little math. Not having ideal credit can cost you thousands and thousands of dollars over the course of a home or car loan. It can keep you from getting insurance coverage or even a job. It can make even everyday needs and decisions more difficult.

When you compare this to the confidence and assurance of feeling in control of your credit situation and the opportunities that brings, the value of credit repair can seem pretty priceless. Luckily, having the experts at Scorex Financial working to help you tackle your credit issues costs only $99.00 a month. It's a pretty great value that may impact a lot of the things you value most.

No, we do not. Scorex Financial focuses upon how your credit reports look. In other words, they work to help you safeguard your financial reputation so that you can get the credit you deserve. On the other hand, debt settlement companies offer something very different – they negotiate with your creditors to create payment plans. Sadly, sometimes those debt negotiators can make your credit reports look even worse. Credit repair is unique. Rather than settling your debts, we at Scorex Financial work to help ensure that problematic negative items on your credit report are substantiated, relevant, accurate and reported fairly. And we work hard to help get them removed when those standards are not met.

With Scorex Financial, your answer is in our name: We are experts in restoring your great credit SCORE and in helping to defend your financial reputation and overall creditworthiness.

As valuable as the possibility of better credit is, the cost to start taking control of it is simple: it’s $99.00 per month. Separate from the service, there is a monthly charge of $21.99 for your updated credit reports every month. There will never be any additional costs or fees - it’s that straightforward.

We are here for you throughout your credit-repair experience. You can always email us with any questions you have. We’ll get back to you promptly so that you can always keep moving forward.

If you are not already a member of the Scorex Financial family and have questions about the service email us at info@ScorexFinancial.com. If you are a member and have questions about your account email us at memberservices@ScorexFinancial.com.

We are based in Houston, Texas with additional offices planned for major Texas cities in the near future. However, our advisors are available by phone or email enabling us to help clients without having to have an office in your area.

Sometimes you just want to talk to somebody – to ask questions, get encouragement or understand the process better. And we’re here to talk to you, during the following hours:

You can call us toll-free at: 1-888-286-9144 or 832-758-4314

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) was written in 1970 as an amendment to the Consumer Credit Protection Act. The FCRA provides additional measures of consumer protection in the areas of fairness, accuracy, and privacy of the information collected by the credit bureaus. It also allows you to personally engage in credit repair and maintenance processes, verifying that the information in your credit report is correct.

A credit bureau - sometimes called a "consumer reporting agency" - is a business that collects relevant consumer information from creditors and courthouses, and then sells that information to interested parties such as potential lenders. Such information is sold in the form of a credit report. In the U.S., the three major credit bureaus are TransUnion, Experian, and Equifax.

When an account is unpaid for more than 180 days, a creditor usually writes off the debt as a loss on their financial statements. This is known as a charge off. Once a debt is charged off, it is either transferred to an in-house collections department or sold to a third-party collection agency who will likely contact you in attempt to recoup the balance.

There is no fast and easy answer to this question. The time it takes to repair your credit is completely dependent upon your personal situation. In that regard, Scorex Financial Services values each member's unique situation and provides customized game plans to suit varying member needs. We work with you quickly to:

  • Check your credit reports to help you identify items that you want to challenge or change. This strategy allows us to focus our efforts and get started as quickly as possible. With your timely involvement, the process can begin.
  • Challenge the items you identified with your creditors and/or the credit bureaus. We interact with creditors directly help resolve the issues quickly. We also communicate with the credit bureaus to ensure that all changes are reflected on your credit report. Creditor and credit bureau cooperation is imperative to timely credit repair. Thankfully, we understand consumer protection laws and the time regulations they carry. We'll represent you with legal knowledge on our side.
  • Change your perspective by confronting your credit score issues. At Scorex Financial Services, change is our end-goal. When negative items are challenged and removed, credit scores almost always improve.
  • While we can't guarantee a timeframe for your credit repair, we can share our past results.  With our knowledge and your active participation, we can work together to help you achieve the credit repair you've been searching for.

Although you have the ability to repair your credit alone, seeking the help of an experienced credit repair company is an option. A worthy advocate is defined by their actions. A good credit repair company will help you:

  • Understand how to read and analyze your credit reports
  • Understand how your credit scores are determined
  • Learn strategies to continually improve your credit standing
  • In addition, they'll take charge by:

  • Working with creditors and the credit bureaus on your behalf in order to resolve issues
  • Utilizing the provisions within federal consumer protection laws to help you achieve the credit you deserve
  • Representing you fairly and honestly
  • At Scorex Financial Services, we personify these principles in the work we do. Our expert processes help people take control of their financial lives, and our track record speaks for itself. Choosing us will allow you to take advantage of our proven, three-step process:

  • Check. When you sign up, we instantly instruct you how to pull your credit reports. We then organize the information in a way that helps you to identify items you may want to challenge or change. This helps us to build a game plan to fit your personal goals and needs.
  • Challenge. This is where it is so critical to have the experts on your side. We interact directly with the credit companies and help them to meet their obligations as applicable to your particular situation and plan. Then, we communicate with the credit bureaus to confirm that the appropriate changes have actually occurred. We know the industry, and we know how to use the rules to protect you.

Change. We make it easy to stay connected so that you can monitor your progress with helpful tools, including:

  • A personal online dashboard, allowing you to view your account and credit repair progress 24 hours a day.
  • Dedicated Scorex Financial member advisors to help you navigate through the credit repair process.
  • A monthly online credit score analysis, providing you with the tools and information necessary to continually improve your credit.
  • Identity theft insurance to protect you in case your credit information is stolen
  • Updated credit reports on a monthly basis.
  • An updated credit score every 30 days.
  • Mobile apps and customizable text alerts, allowing you to take credit repair with you and receive updates wherever you go.
  • It's a common myth that negative items must remain on your credit report for a minimum number of years. In fact, there is no minimum timeframe. Creditors control the information they provide to the credit bureaus. They can also choose to remove negative items as well. The Fair Credit Reporting Act requires all reported information to be fair, accurate, and substantiated. If these conditions are not met, the credit bureaus are required to remove it. In the case of factual information, the following represents the maximum time limits attached to each. Once these limits lapse, the credit bureaus must remove them from your credit report.

    Maximum Limits

    Two Years

  • Inquiries
  • Seven Years

  • Civil suits, civil judgments, and records of arrest (foreclosures, child support, and small claims) will remain for seven years, or until the governing statute of limitation has expired, whichever comes first.
  • Paid tax liens
  • Collection accounts
  • Adverse items of information (excluding records of convictions of crimes)
  • Closed accounts from day of reported closing if delinquencies exist
  • Late payments
  • Charge offs
  • Paid student loan default
  • Lost credit card incidences, if there is a delinquency
  • Ten Years

  • Bankruptcy (Chapters 7, 11, 12, and 13)
  • Forever

  • Unpaid tax liens, unless a state law exists with greater consumer protections
  • Unpaid federal student loans
  • Criminal convictions
  • Credit affects every area of life. When your credit is bad, it follows that your life may face similar hardships in the areas of:

    • Loan applications. Lenders rely on credit to recommend new customers. When your credit is low, your borrowing power is stifled by risk. In this economy, mortgage and auto lenders are tightening their restrictions when it comes to drafting new loans. More is required of the average borrower, including a sizable down-payment and a credit score of 720 or higher. If your credit score is stalled, it could spell trouble when applying for a new loan.
    • Interest rates. Interest rates depend heavily on your credit score, a number that is calculated based on the level of risk found in your credit report. If your past is peppered with late payments, collections, bankruptcy, etc., the result may equal higher interest rates. As your credit score improves, you're likely to see a reduction in interest, allowing you to save money over time.
    • Insurance premiums. Insurance is the business side of risk mitigation, so it's no surprise that a clean credit report results in better rates. Insurance providers rely on your financial track record to determine your risk levels in other areas of life. A low credit score is often viewed as high-risk behavior.
    • Employment opportunities. Many employers now require credit checks before hiring a new team member. The job market is competitive, and managers use this strategy to gauge a new-hire's level of responsibility. Despite your qualifications, a bad credit report is likely to make you seem disorganized and careless—two qualities that should never appear on your resume.
    • Savings. Favorable loan terms, interest rates, insurance premiums, and employment all add up to one sum: savings. A good credit score means leaner options. The less money you spend, the more you'll have to save for emergencies, retirement, and education.

    The U.S.Economy

You aren't the only one who benefits from better credit. The U.S. depends on responsible behavior from its citizens to keep the economy running smoothly. Roughly 70 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is fueled by consumer spending. The GDP is the current market value of all goods and services. When consumer debt exceeds an amount that government can safely liquidate, inflation occurs to bridge the gap. This process devalues the dollar and drives up market prices, making it more difficult to maintain the same standard of living over time. Americans are forced to spend less, resulting in an economic stall. Extreme cases can lead to national depressions and crises such as the housing market crash. While spending too little is never good for the economy, spending too much may be equally damaging.

When it comes to good credit, the stakes are high. Do yourself and your country a favor by taking the necessary steps to improve your life. It's never too late to make a change.

Make no mistake-bad credit comes at a cost. Credit affects every area of your life, from your ability to buy a house to the way potential employers view your application. Those living with bad credit understand the challenges it causes, including:

    • High interest rates on home mortgages, credit cards, auto loans, student loans, etc.
    • Unwilling lenders/creditors
    • Unmanageable debt
    • High insurance premiums
    • Fewer job opportunities

In addition to costing more money, bad credit limits your financial options and threatens your fiscal stability. If you're looking to make a positive change, the time is now. At Scorex Financial Services, your cost is $99.00 per month, plus the cost of your initial credit report and your monthly credit monitoring ($21.99). When you retain our service, you'll receive:

    • A personal online dashboard, allowing you to view your account and credit repair progress 24 hours a day.
    • A dedicated member advisor to help you navigate through the credit repair process.
    • A monthly credit score analysis, providing you with the tools and information necessary to continually improve your credit.
    • Identity theft insurance to protect you in case your credit information is stolen.
    • Updated credit reports on a monthly basis
    • An updated credit score every 30 days
    • Mobile apps and customizable text alerts, allowing you to take credit repair with you and receive updates wherever you go.

When considering the effects of bad credit, it's clear that a better life exists with a positive credit score. Make the decision to invest in your future today. Good credit is priceless.

Several laws provide consumers the ability to question creditors regarding accounts that are ultimately reported to the credit bureaus. Everything appearing within a credit report must meet three consumer protection standards: Information must have been fairly reported, entirely accurate, and fully substantiated. In this regard, federal consumer laws protect all U.S. citizens, allowing everyone access to the same tools and resources. Scorex Financial Services is proud to help our members use these universal tools. Although our main office is based in Houston, Texas, our services are available online and by telephone. Our skilled advisors will answer all your questions and help you on the path to better credit. When you work with us, credit repair is possible from the comfort of your own home.

While bad credit does limit your borrowing options, it may still be possible to find a loan with bad credit. However, the question remains, is a bad credit loan worth the disadvantages it carries?

    • When a lender approves a loan, they attach an interest rate based on your credit score. When your credit is low, a lender assumes that you are at greater risk of defaulting. To mitigate this risk, they increase your interest rate, thereby increasing the cost of your monthly payments as well. If you do default on the loan, a higher interest rate has allowed your lender to collect additional funds, offsetting the losses they incur.
    • Although the loan policy is logical, it certainly isn't cheap. Signing up for a bad credit loan is sure to cost you more in the long run. Consider the following example:
      • Steve's credit score is 770, ranking him among the top scores in the country. He recently bought a $400,000 home with a 30 year fixed mortgage. His credit score allowed him to secure the best interest rate on the market.
      • Across the street, Bill is attempting to buy a house that also requires a $400,000 loan. Despite the identical price, Bill's credit score is a dismal 659. As a result, the bank will only approve Bill's loan with a high interest rate attached. Over the next 30 years, Bill will pay over $650,000 more than Steve in accrued interest.
    • Before considering a bad credit loan, why not take steps to improve your financial stability? Scorex Financial Services can help you achieve the better credit score you deserve, allowing you to pursue better interest rates in the process. Don't settle for paying more money over the life of your loan. Play it smart and focus on credit repair first.

We stand behind the quality of the work we do for our clients and it shows in the results they receive and the subsequent friends and family they refer to us afterwards.
